The Caretaker part 2 for AJJ Tell me a story

Hello
Hope everyone's having a good week. I've had a bit of a bad throat for several days but ok now. I was going to post yesterday when all of a sudden there was an almighty noise and the washing machine decided to breakdown. It's 20 years old - so I think we have had our moneys worth, but I love it so I hope it can be repaired.

Today I have a digital piece to link for AJJ theme 'Tell me a story' which is Erika from BioArtGal theme for this month. This page continues the story from a previous one The Caretaker .
I used my original real artwork and digitally cut out  'the caretaker' and then copied and pasted the image many times to go on my shelving in the laboratory. The other digital imagery is from Daisytrail (Serif Steampunk kits).

I wonder what happens next?

Thank you for stopping by

  1. What a fun piece, Gill, I wonder if he will ever have enough clones? Sorry you had a bad throat. Poor washing machine, hope you find a good doctor for it - or perhaps you can get it cloned!
Have a nice evening, and thanks for another lovely entry for AJJ, hugs, Valerie

  2. This is an amazing page Gill. I think that will be one enormous job for the clones . I look forward to reading the next installment.
Hope you feel better soon, sore throats in winter tend to linger.
Good luck with the poorly washing machine.

  3. COOL! I love this Gill. Like a sci-fi movie- ad very clever. I can relate to the washer. I had to replace mine and now I have to do the dryer too. And they are only 7 years old, but way too much money to repair. Hope the sore throat feels better soon and thanks for this great story at AJJ. Hugs-Erika

  7. That's funny, I was just thinking of The Caretaker this morning. So that answers my question, is she a good person or a bad person. I really hope you let us know how the story goes as this picture leaves me wondering. I'm still a bit worried about The Caretaker, she has a funny look in her eyes. And now there are lots of them.
    Great story and illustrations, Gill.

  8. Your caretakers are fabulous! There is a very fitting background for the whole scenery! I laughed about the knee-wheels of the scientist, an old kind of "rollator" :)
    Ein schönes Wochenende!
