50 shades of red_4

Hello

I just remembered February doesn't have as many - oops! so I'd better post this before it's too late for AJJ 50 shades of red hosted by the lovely Linda of heARTfully inspired.
Its been a great month and the red theme was a lovely tonic for all our wintery grey days here - thanks Linda :)

I was inspired by a quote on one of Valeries fabulous pages  which said ' I am currently unsupervised - the possibilities are endless'. The  word 'unsupervised' really made me smile..... here's what I created.
I used a gelli print for the background and took the bird from one of my pages and made a digital page. The woman was a line drawing I did years ago and so I digitally coloured that in. The sun and rainbow are made with digital chalk brushes.

Thanks so much for stopping by
Have a great day.
Gill x.

  1. Haha, this is sooo fabulous! First all the red and the patterns in your background, second the chalk brushes sun and rainbow, third the line-drawing of this nice woman - digital colored! And then these cool words, and of course the cute little bird - all in all a wonderful digital piece!

  2. Fantastic page Gill!
Isn't being unsupervised the mandatory prerequisite for making fantastic art?
    I guess it!
Thank you for this wonderful page to Linda's February theme Gill!
    Happy week ahead!

  7. I would have been here sooner, but I've been sick. This is a lovely final AJJ entry. I was so impressed with the digital aspect, too. It's a gem.
