WOYWW #197

Pinch me – am I dreaming or has Wednesday come around already.... Welcome and Happy WOYWW to you.
Whats WOYWW? It means...‘Whats On Your Workspace Wednesday’ and this is where we all have a nose at each others workspaces and have a lot of blog hopping fun. This is organised by the lovely Julia over at  Stamping Ground     blog and definitely worth checking for info and to join in the fun.

So whats on my desk?

On my desk at present are some Easter bits for a few simple cards. Used the Spellbinders dies in two different sizes, stamped on to watercolour paper and used watercolour pencils and some pink and yellow glitter glue. Just going to add a small peel off greeting.
Stamps are 'Some bunny loves you' (Candyfloss and Marshmallow) by DoCrafts.

Cabinet top/workspace 2 looks pretty much the same at back as last week.
Got some new storage boxes from The Range and the one with Green lid has all my small boxes of alphabet stamps in. To the right of that are two small stacks of clear Knorr & Bisto stock pot containers that I have been saving to mix paint, glue etc in.
I like to save things to re-cycle; the clear plastic jar with blue lid (with beads in) had peanut butter in and the oval shape container with dark blue lid that I have decorated with inks had 'Andrews' in it.

At the front are some stamped images that I have had for ages and its time to either use them or bin them... but me thinks will use them though as need to make some cards.

Right, I'm off now to start visiting as many places as I can and see what you have been up to and have on your desk.
Thanks for taking the time to stop by and for any comments left...
Have a good day and Happy Crafting... Gill x

  1. I am with you on the repurposing and recycling. I am currently saving toilet paper cores and everyone at the scrap book store brought in their contribution to the cause the other night. I literally have had to put several bags in the trash because I would never use them all! I love recycling jars, tins etc for my craft room...gives it character! Thanks for sharing. Have a great week. Vickie #1

I am off to The Range shortly as I have to waste so time there while my son has his guitar lesson just around the corner. You can imagine the hardship for me having to spend time there!

  24. Hi Gill,
Tis the season huh? I am in love with bunnies, bunnies everywhere including your desk...great cards; someone will certainly appreciate you!! March is a lovely month in Alaska - gaining just shy of 6 minutes a day and usually lots of sunshine. Still cold though. It's about 30 degrees Farenheit but the winds blowing about 30 mph, with gusts up to 50. Makes a person want to stay indoors. Lol. Hope you have a great week. See you next Wednesday.

  25. Love what you're doing on your desk, and so nice that you also recycle stuff! Lots of lovely colour on your desk, and plenty of gorgeous creative activity! It makes me feel quite envious, now my poor old ARTHaven is 90% boxed up!

Thank you for missing me and not forgetting me!!! Yes, tons to do, lots to think about, but I am actually really enjoying it all. I am so looking forward to getting settled into our new home, and seeing Mum settle down and being happier, knowing that we are there with her and she doesn't have to be on her own any more.

    Happy WOYWW,

  26. I waste nothing! Even the fluff from my tumble dryer goes out for the birds nesting! It's amazing hot much we do waste so I gain pleasure from whatever I can upcycle.
    Love your butterfly card.

  33. When I first started teaching, everyone always saved toilet roll centres etc for craft lessons, but then Health and Safety got involved and decided it was totally germ ridden and we could not do it anymore. Then Fairy Liquid changed the shape of their containers, which meant that we could not make rockets either. Thank you for your visit this week and your good wishes. xx Maggie #9

    1. Thanks - I have altered my original design which started off like this http://gibbyfrogettcraftations.blogspot.co.uk/2013/01/happy-new-year.html (in my January posting) I took out the words and enlarged it all . Its a digital design I created using some photos i.e my DH hand and his watch, some are drawings and things like cogs etc are digitally created..
