Hello everyone..
Then I added the digital elements and the quotes. The kits were Daisytrail Aviary Exotic and Aviary Paradise.
It amazes me how many different variations there are within a species... shapes, size, colours, habitat etc like these birds of paradise.

Then just because I could... I used the same background (but changed its colour) and made another spread with a kit called 'The collector' from Daisytrail.
I'd never seen this type of Orange Ladybird before and before helping it out of our conservatory managed to snap a little photo.
many thanks for stopping by...

Both spreads are wonderful, love them to bits, and both right up my street - or should I say tree here?! Love the Daisytrail kits you used, too, they are lovely, must look at them. Thanks for yet more fantastic journaling for AJJ, you are really the Queen of hostesses! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteLoved this post with such inspiring ideas and stunning images. Great that you captured the unusual lady bird on camera and also yout use of the same background and making it look so different

Fabulous journal spreads, I really love the one with the birds. Like you I used a background and altered it today. The digital additions you added looked awesome, but I am not a great fan of the insects, but they have a right to be here and they do add to the wonders of nature.

ReplyDeleteGreat use of your pretty aqua marker background Gill!
ReplyDeleteThose birds are gorgeous and so exotic.
Nature certainly can give us a lift if we just take time to notice it.
I agree about nature and creatures all being beautiful in their own way.
I am also VERY glad I do not live where they have scorpions or tarantulas LOL.
More beautiful nature pages you created oxo
Beautiful pages! I love your nature theme. The birds are splendid!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous :) I love the DaisyTrail Collector kit, it's got lots of useful "stuff" in it. The aquamarker pens create a great effect.
ReplyDeleteWow, amazing tropical birds and insects. The world is so full of fantastic creatures. With such fascinating lives for certain. I love how you added the magnifying glass to the insect page. Great work Gill. And yes, I got your comment too. :) Hugs-Erika
