Hope your week has been good.
I don't normally think of something I can use for both AJJ and also MM&M so I hope this is ok as this month Erika from BioArtGal is hosting AJJ with the fab theme 'Tell me a story and the theme currently at Moo Mania & More is 'Love'.
I started with a page using stickers, washi tape, panpastels, felt-tip pens and a little grungy stamping. Then digitally added my words, some more flowers and some vintage words and music.
I guess the equivalent to a UK 'Hen' and 'Stag' night is probably a Bachelorette, Bachelors or Bucks party and other names depending where you live.

Its a wonderful page and the pinks in the background make it look so romantic.
ReplyDeleteThe words you added were great, I do like a happy ending, especially if its getting the dishes washed up.

Lovely page! I like the combo of pan pastels and washi tapes too! Pan pastels are so good for backgrounds.
ReplyDeleteThis spread has a very feminine feel to it. I was really impressed.
ReplyDeleteI used to think I shouldn't try to combine challenges, then one day, the stars aligned and I had a spread that was acceptable for two challenges. Since then, I look for ways to join more than one challenge at once. That's why this is so adorable.
What a gorgeous feminine page Gill, love the wording too....very clever

This is a a lovely illustration and definition of love in action.
ReplyDeleteI haven't heard the word "hen night" for a while. Can you have a "hen lunch" or does it have to be a night?
I like the way you showed us how you started with the "real" page then added the rest digitally.
Lovely pink and red background for the sweet details and the words! Love is ... washing up the dishes :)
