Today for my AJJ 'Elegance and Grunge' challenge page I had some fun and I first wrote a poem and then used that idea to create a digital page.
The background is from one of my scanned Gelli prints and then I added images from various clip art collections I have plus some digital elements from kits called... 'His story, Steampunk parlour (Daisytrail), Grunge en rouge (by me) and ‘Another time' (GT designs).
The font I used is called 'Candy Square BTN'.
Its a sunny day and the birds are singing. I love this time of year when the birds are busy nesting and singing more. Outside I can hear a Blackbird singing a lovely song, it is probably our resident Blackbird, this is him sitting in one of the Lilac tree, he's a friendly chap and comes up close to us.
And as well as admiring him in the tree, I love looking at the Lilac trunks as they have great grungy textures and lovely patterns on them.
Thanks for stopping by.
Hope you have a great day
Gill x

ReplyDeleteAaawww what a sweet story, Gill, and a great illustration.
ReplyDeleteHaving a resident car mechanic will be very useful, and I'm sure he has a nice shower when he comes home to her elegant house. He is hard-working too and looks rather fine!
Love that your blackbird comes near you, blackies are great birds, they are so caring of their young. Your blackie is looking good, that's a great photo.
A wonderful ideas page with the poem, the wonderful creativity!
ReplyDeleteThe birds they chirp cheerfully that I also like and the trees the bark is interesting!
