For AJJ In the sky/In the air

........real life has been getting in the way of arty things at present while I am trying to do much needed over due jobs  at home :(
and so another month nearly gone and I've almost missed joining in with the
AJJ in the sky/in the air theme this month hosted by the lovely Erika from 'Bio Art Gal'  but I needed a break from trying to alter curtains and had a play and some fun instead and made a page in one of my journals using stamps and stencils.

I should be back to normal blogging (if not before) around early July :)

Hope your weekend going well.
Thanks so much for stopping by.

  1. Thanks so much Gill for taking a little time from all your home revamping (I'd leave to see the curtains) to join us at Art Journal Journey. This page is super. I love the colored background and then how you used the black for the border and images. I little childhood fun, a little nature and some steampunk all goes together fantastically. This page was worth the wait. Hope you get all your chores done soon so we can see you a little more frequently online. hugs-Erika

  2. This is a beauty Gill. I love the steampunk Zeppelin you used, too. That's a fabulous quote, dear. This entire entry is wonderful. Thanks for sharing it with us using Erika's theme at Art Journal Journey.

I hope you get those curtains altered soon. I miss your gorgeous art.

  4. So good to see you back in Blogland, Gill, even if it is only for a short while (till July, we will be watching and waiting, haha!).
That's a terrific scene with a quite wonderfully original backdrop for the silhouettes, and I do like the words, how true they are.
Making/altering curtains can be a long task, all that sewing up and down and possibly across too, and then hovering "In the Air" with the curtain hooks and rail.

  7. I know exactly where you are coming from with Life stuff Gill and I believe if I did not have my DT creations i'd sink within it all. So good to see your creation today, we all need to carry a little sunshine with us. All the best with those curtains, I have quite a few home improvements on the go but need a little break after the past few months have just absorbed me.
Take good care of yourself & lets look forward to getting back into the swing of that paint brush!!
    Hugs Tracey xx

Yes, I know what it means "real life needs us so much ..." therefore it's good to take a break (and create something for fun)!
