Yet again the month has flown by with no time for real art but I really wanted to join in with my friend Rike who has been the host for November at AJJ theme fruit and veggies
I chose to make a page on one of my favourite fruits - grapes, which I love in both formats ...on the vine or in my glass :)
My page is digitally created using elements from various digi kits but the background is a photo of a mixed-media (paints and stencils) page I created some time back.
thanks for stopping by...

Beautiful journal page Gill, love the pretty colours. Good to see you around again! Hugs, Valerie
ReplyDeleteI like grapes as well and I like your picture!
ReplyDeleteThe background looks like a sunny day and the grapes have this sun in itselves.
I'm glad to see you here and I know there is a mail to answer...
See you there :)

A beautiful page Gill and a super background. The wine bottle and grapes look fantastic and I likes hoe you added a few grapes to the glass.

Oh Gill, what an amazing and beautiful hybrid entry you have created for us. I love the background, I was glad you shared it with us, in addition to the digital part. It's a rare beauty and I love how you chose two forms of grapes in this entry. Thanks for sharing this with us using Rike's theme at Art Journal Journey, dear.
ReplyDeleteWhat a happy page Gill. Grapes really are the fruits of the gods, aren't they? Delicious to eat and to drink too. Hope all your packing is going along well and you've had a great month. Hugs-Erika

Hi Gill, I know what you mean about time like October, November passed by even quicker and I so wished to join in at least once at AJJ. Your page is full of celebratory fruits which i'm sure many enjoy this side of the year more than not. Fabulous and creative, the background and grapes are colour matched so well. Hope you are keeping well? I'm on a slow mend but needed in other places today so thought i'd catch up with as many as I could before heading out.
ReplyDeleteTake good care now warmest of Hugs Tracey x

I love grapes too :), yesterday I bought some dark blue grapes. Wonderful how you placed them on the tree, in the glass and in the bottle! Your background is gorgeous - I love these beautiful bright colors, lilac and yellow/green works together like happy partners.

Hello Gill.

This is so summery and warm and colourful - a little different from the view outside today.
However all seasons are good, aren't they?
