I love your beautiful flower page Gill. I've been using watercolors a lot lately too, and I love the subtle but strong colors you created. Nice you could digitally use it again on that also wonderful page. Wonderful faces too. I'd say you've been having fun with some art. ReplyDeleteThe blue flower is really lovely, delicate and innocent, just the thing I had in mind for A Single Flower, quietly being the Star of the Show. That's rather an interesting font you've used too.

You are very good at painting faces and I love the way you have painted her hair, it really looks like wispy straight hair. It's possible that she may have cut the ends herself and all the better for it.
Lots of fun changes for her jumper and several times I have wished I could photoshop one of my jumpers into a different colour. Nice font on this too, especially the "Arty capitals" font.

They are all so beautiful pages, I think the woman is so great and also the flower with the great quotes. Very nice how you have changed it digitally again and again.

However, I don't plan to miss visiting you and your beautiful flower and other incredible art you have shared with us. The single flower is incredible, and absolutely perfect for Sheila's theme at Art Journal Journey. The lady with the flowers is beautiful and it's wonderful that you scan your art to use at a later time. You make incredible art, Gill and I love every bit of it.
